Phase Perfect Digital Phase Converters

Phase Perfect Family

Phase Conversion

Three-phase power from a single-phase source, anywhere you need it. Phase Technologies has developed phase converters with twice the starting capability of a rotary phase converter with 98.7% efficiency and 2% voltage balance, all in a smaller footprint. Phase Perfect® digital phase converters use modern, solid-state electronics to create utility-quality three-phase power anywhere.

Robust and durable, these phase converters are capable of powering any load. Over 20 years of development has led to a phase converter capable of running everything from hard-starting motors to equipment with delicate embedded electronics.

Voltage Doubling

Need 460 V but only have 230 V? Phase technologies has created Voltage Doubling technology that will allot 460 V output from a 230 V source. In many situations 460 V could result in significant cost savings, but too often those potential savings are eaten up by the need for a transformer.

Voltage Balance

Phase Technologies' digital phase converters provide superior voltage balance compared to other three-phase producing equipment, within 2% to be exact. This ensures more stable and reliable power for three-phase equipment. Rotary converters often produce unbalanced voltages, which can lead to inefficient motor performance, overheating, and potential equipment damage.

98.7 % Efficiency

Phase Technologies' digital phase converters offer significantly higher efficiency compared to traditional rotary phase converters. digital phase converters use solid-state electronics to deliver clean, balanced three-phase power with minimal losses. This results in 98.7% efficiency, reduced heat generation, and improved performance and longevity for sensitive equipment.

Low Standby Usage

Phase Perfect digital phase converters use just 87 watts in standby, compared to the 500 – few thousand watts typical of rotary phase converters. This results in significantly lower energy costs over time. With no moving parts, they also run quieter, cooler, and require less maintenance, making them a more efficient and cost-effective solution for continuous operation.

*Simple model maintains voltage balance within 2%, just like the Phase Perfect®, under steady-state loads but may drop voltage on the generated leg briefly during motor startup.
**Phase Simple will start and run multiple loads, as long as those loads do not add up to the peak starting capacity of the phase converter.
***Certain Performance models (PT4150, 4175) will derate current output when operated above 40C.
