Ramps the motor up gradually to reduce water hammer and line surge at startup, easing mechanical stress on the pivot and inrush on the motor windings for longer equipment life.

Power the Pump and the Pivot with AuxPower™
A center-pivot irrigation system has two separate power needs. The main pump requires variable-speed three-phase motor control, while the pivot and its control system also require a dependable source of three-phase power.
AuxPower™ is an optional integrated solution designed to address both needs from one configured system. A phase-converting drive controls the speed and operation of the main irrigation pump, while AuxPower works in tandem to perform the phase conversion that runs the pivot and supplies the power its control system needs.
This allows an irrigation site with single-phase utility service to operate both the three-phase pump and the center pivot without assembling multiple independent phase-conversion and motor-control systems in the field.
The result is a cleaner installation with fewer separate components to source, mount, wire and troubleshoot.
