PhaseTec's
digital
power conditioner is based on double IGBT conversion
topology, which converts the incoming AC power to DC, then
regenerates AC power. By completely reconstructing the AC
waveform, it is able to exert complete AC line conditioner control over power
quality and isolate your equipment from power problems.
The PhaseTec
power conditioner
input module is a software controlled IGBT power module with
electronic power factor correction. The input power factor
is near unity (1.0) and the input current is a sine wave
with very low total
harmonic distortion (THD). This
protects other equipment operating upstream from the effects
of harmonic distortion and eliminates the need to oversize
any generators supplying power to the system. Double
conversion systems that rely on a simpler diode rectifier
input module can distort the input current, creating
problems for upstream equipment.
PhaseTec's
power conditioner
output
voltage has very low distortion (<3% on linear loads) and
maintains tightly regulated voltage across the entire input
range of voltage. High momentary overload capacity allows
operation of demanding applications such as
motor starting
currents. With four user selected output voltages at either
50 or 60 Hz, PhaseTec's digital power conditioner
can operate on most utility power
sources anywhere on the planet.
PhaseTec's
digital
power conditioner is easy to install and can be configured
with an optional isolation transformer with electrostatic
shield to protect against common mode noise. The
electrical
transformer is available with a center tapped neutral to
provide dual voltage such as 120/240V.
